Job summary

ITS Logistics in York, PA is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage vendor relationships, oversee purchasing of supplies, and ensure timely delivery for multiple Distribution Services campuses. You will create, place, and track purchase orders while fostering strong supplier partnerships to keep operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in procurement in a distribution environment, excellent organization and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of procurement experience in a distribution center or logistics setting.
• Excellent organizational and problem-resolution skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Team-oriented with a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create, place, and track purchase orders for supplies, materials, and equipment.
• Monitor vendor performance, including delivery reliability, quality, and service levels.
• Source new vendors and evaluate capabilities, pricing, quality, and service.
• Assist in negotiating pricing, delivery schedules, and service agreements.
• Communicate regularly with Operations and Administrative teams on purchasing questions.
• Interface with clients to place potential purchases as requested.
• Assist in creating and maintaining SOPs related to purchasing and vendor management.
• Other duties as assigned.
