Job summary

ANA is seeking a Powertrain Integration Engineer to join our Henderson, Nevada team on site. You will focus on the physical application, validation, and optimization of diesel engines integrated into our generators and hybrid systems.

The role requires hands‑on testing, thermodynamic analysis, and close collaboration with design, manufacturing, and product management to meet emissions and performance targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on mechanical engineering experience in testing or validation.
• Experience with fixed‑speed and variable‑speed engine applications; emissions knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Engine integration, mounting, and validation of diesel/variable‑speed engines in generators and hybrid systems.
• Calibration, load‑response evaluation, and operational optimization across speed ranges.
• On‑floor testing, diagnostics, and addressing thermodynamic/engine challenges.
• Design for Manufacturability collaboration with design and process engineers.
• Documentation: BOMs, SOPs, testing logs, and assembly instructions.
• Cross‑functional work with design, manufacturing, and product management.
