Job summary

Alliance North America seeks a Systems Engineer to support the development of next-generation hybrid power systems. This on-site Henderson, NV role reports to the Senior Electrical Systems Engineer and requires collaboration across electrical, mechanical, controls/software, and thermal disciplines.

The ideal candidate will translate stakeholder needs into measurable system requirements, participate in DFMEA, architecture definition, and verification planning, and support prototype integration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of product-development, systems-engineering, or related technical experience in automotive, off-highway, industrial equipment, controls, power equipment, energy systems, or a comparable environment.
• Foundational ability to contribute to system requirements, specifications, acceptance criteria, interface definitions, and supporting technical documentation.
• Exposure to DFMEA, design-risk reviews, or similar structured product-development activities.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Availability: Full-time, on-site presence at Henderson, NV facility.

Responsibilities

• Translate stakeholder needs into clear system requirements and specifications.
• Develop functional architectures, interface definitions, and matrices.
• Support DFMEA activities and risk-reduction actions.
• Assist with DVP&R development and verification planning.
• Support prototype integration, testing, and root-cause investigations.
