Job summary

ANA, based in Henderson, NV, seeks a Powertrain Systems Engineer for onsite work in our Henderson facility. You will integrate and validate diesel engines within our generators and energy systems, performing hands-on testing and diagnostics on the shop floor to ensure emissions compliance and reliability.

You will collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to drive manufacturability improvements, optimize engine performance, and document all steps with BOMs, SOPs, and test logs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering; Master’s degree a plus.
• 3–5 years of hands-on mechanical engineering, validation, or testing experience.
• Experience in power generation, heavy machinery, engines, fixed/variable-speed applications.
• Proficient with engine diagnostic tools, data acquisition, and performance testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and validate diesel and variable-speed engines in ANA power generators and hybrid systems.
• Calibrate, evaluate load-response, and optimize engine performance.
• Assemble, wire, modify prototype engine units and test fixtures.
• Assess manufacturability and coordinate with design for cost efficiency.
• Create BOMs, SOPs, test logs, and assembly instructions.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and product teams on specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
