Job summary

Pero Family Farms is seeking a QA Supervisor to assure consistent food safety and quality in manufacturing operations. The role reports to the QA Manager and requires hands-on leadership of QA and packinghouse staff on an onsite basis.

Responsibilities include implementing HACCP plans, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with USDA, FDA, and company policies. PM shift and full-time onsite work are involved.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required.
• Proven problem solving abilities are essential.
• Experience developing and executing strategic plans is preferred.
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives within QA and production.
• Ability to interact with customers and non-technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements QA programs meeting corporate food safety and quality missions.
• Contributes to audits and corrective actions to ensure product safety and quality.
• Develops HACCP plans and prerequisite programs (sanitation, GMPs, training).
• Keeps documentation up to date and communicates QA knowledge across the organization.
• Hires, coaches, and evaluates packinghouse staff and QA team members.
• Works with night sanitation staff and supports compliance with standards.
