Job summary

Pero Family Farms is seeking a QA Supervisor in Hanover, PA, onsite, full-time. The role leads food safety and quality programs, manages QA staff, and ensures compliance with HACCP, GMP, USDA and FDA standards.

PM shift focus and responsibilities include audits, training and continuous improvement to protect the Pero Family Farms brand. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in fresh produce, and a proven track record in implementing quality plans and collaborating

Qualifications

• BS in Food Science, etc. or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in supervising Food Safety/Quality programs.
• Experience in fresh produce.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Problem solver with ability to drive continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of HACCP and prerequisite programs; ability to implement.
• Ability to manage technical staff and interact with customers.
• Ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and verify food safety and quality programs.
• Lead audits and ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, USDA, FDA.
• Hire, coach, and evaluate QC staff; provide performance feedback.
• Develop and communicate quality plans; train staff on procedures.
• Drive culture and ethics to protect Pero Family Farms Brand.
