Pero Family Farms in Hanover, PA is seeking a QA/QC Technician to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer expectations and our Food Safety Standards. This full-time onsite role reports to the QA Manager.

You will inspect product, perform CCP testing, calibrations, and documentation, and support HACCP programs while maintaining GMP practices; collaborate across functions to uphold quality standards.

Qualificações

• Food quality inspection experience; produce experience preferred.
• Good communication skills, including basic written and spoken English.
• Computer skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office.
• HACCP certification or training.
• Ability to follow complex verbal and written instructions and work independently to resolve quality-related problems.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect inbound/outbound product.
• Take temperatures and cultures of product.
• Document all inspections and data.
• Perform tasks related to quality and food safety.
• Monitor organic handling practices and HACCP compliance.
• Calibrate weight scales and thermometers; test detectors.
• Hold and release and rework programs as needed.
• Shelf-life evaluation and sensory testing.
• GMP monitoring to ensure a food-safe environment.
