Energy Systems Group, LLC. is seeking a Plant Operator at our North Chicago facility to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment and systems.

The role requires a 12-hour rotating shift, including overnights, weekends and holidays, onsite at 3001 Green Bay Road, North Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of related experience and a NIULPE 4th Class Power Engineer license or higher, plus basic computer skills and the ability to maintain logs and work orders.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3-6 years of related experience.
• 4th Class Power Engineer NIULPE License Certification or higher.
• Work 12-hour rotating shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic computer skills including data input and daily logs.
• Must be within a reasonable commute from North Chicago, IL.

Responsabilidades

• Operate, maintain, and repair most plant equipment and systems.
• Apply technical understanding of distribution, production and components (steam, chilled water, motors, VFDs, pumps, boilers, chillers).
• Perform preventative maintenance procedures to keep equipment in good condition.
• Operate PLC equipment and start-up activities including troubleshooting.
• Interact with customers as needed and maintain long-term performance tracking.
• Assist and maintain maintenance/work order procedures for the facility.
