Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. seeks a Utility Plant Operator II to monitor and operate campus utility plant equipment safely and efficiently, including boilers, turbines, chillers, and pumps.

You will take readings, respond to alarms, perform startup/shutdown procedures, and keep detailed logs. This role requires a high school diploma and the State of Ohio Stationary Steam Engineer's License, with 12-hour shifts on-site and the ability to drive the company vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• State of Ohio Stationary Steam Engineer's License is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take plant readings and monitor utility system performance.
• Respond to alarms and troubleshoot plant conditions.
• Perform startup, shutdown and Lock Out/Tagout of equipment.
• Review and update plant SOPs and training materials.
• Operate boilers, turbines, chillers, air compressors, pumps and related equipment.
• Maintain and clean plant equipment and building; complete logs and records.
