Job summary

RTX in Windsor Locks, CT is seeking an engineer to support infrastructure upgrades and maintenance for mechanical systems including chilled water, steam, and compressed air. This onsite role collaborates with electrical and structural disciplines to install new equipment.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field, with 2+ years of engineering experience, CAD experience (AutoCAD preferred), and proven ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science/Engineering with minimum 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree.
• Relevant engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Support infrastructure upgrades and maintenance for mechanical systems.
• Document existing mechanical infrastructure (Chilled Water, Tower Water, Steam, Compressed Air).
• Coordinate with electrical, structural, and other disciplines for new equipment installations.
• Assist in bi-annual site shutdown project coordination.
• Support in-house personnel as needed.
