Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is hiring a Supply Chain Manager onsite in Allentown, PA. The role leads planning, purchasing and logistics in a large manufacturing setting, driving on-time delivery, inventory control and supplier performance.

You will manage a team, optimize materials systems, and implement Lean practices across the function. The role requires a strong ERP/MRP background and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of experience in Planning, Purchasing and Logistics in a large manufacturing organization.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment utilizing real-time ERP/MRP platforms with concentration in Production Planning and Inventory Control, SAP a plus.
• Management and leadership experience in leading both direct and matrixed reports.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the business.
• Industry certification preferred in 6-Sigma, APICS or other relevant industry training.
• Demonstrated ability to lead individuals in planning, organizational and analytical development.
• Excellent computer proficiency, including in MS Office applications.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship (H1B, OPT/CPT, TN etc)

Responsibilities

• Plan, purchase, inventory management and shipping functions.
• Lead and manage the planning and purchasing team, including setting goals and managing performance.
• Define and manage supplier quality improvement needs, including supplier visits and corrective actions.
• Maximize on-time delivery performance and develop related metrics.
• Lead the Logistics team to success; department includes a supervisor and several hourly shipping personnel.
• Develop and evolve information systems used by Materials, including ERP/MRP, forecasting software and customized reports.
