Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Phlebotomist for a Contract to Hire role based out of Round Rock, TX. The position involves phlebotomy duties including blood draws, labeling, centrifugation, and proper specimen handling to maintain integrity.

Pay is $26.00 per hour with a comprehensive benefits outline and eligibility dependent on role and tenure. This onsite role requires certification and adherence to established procedures for specimen transport.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification is mandatory.
• Experience with blood draws and specimen handling preferred.
• Ability to document maintenance data and update patient information.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.
• Package specimens for transport and store at required temperatures to maintain specimen integrity.
