Job summary

Labcorp in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, collect specimens for drug screens and tests, and prepare samples for analysis in a fast-paced clinical setting.

This role requires a high school diploma and strong customer service, data entry, and teamwork skills. Prior LabCorp experience is a plus; willingness to cover client sites and overtime as needed; color vision testing may be

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred; color vision testing may be required.
• Flexibility to work overtime and coverage for client sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform Urinalysis dips and pregnancy kit tests.
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Will provide coverage to client and PSC settings.
