Job summary

DataForce by TransPerfect is seeking an onsite Moderator in the Los Angeles area to oversee sessions involving dogs and cats, ensure safety and comfort for participants and animals, and perform basic troubleshooting of data collection tech. Collaborate with the production team to deliver high-quality data generation daily.

Strong moderation, facility setup, and data labeling skills are essential, with willingness to work evenings or weekends if needed and the ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or related field preferred.
• Experience in moderation, facilitation, proctoring is required.
• Experience with lighting for film or photography (amateur or professional) preferred; setting up studio lighting, validating color spectra with a spectrometer, and measuring light with a lux meter.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain data collection equipment and generate daily reports.
• Guide participants and pets through sessions ensuring safety and comfort.
• Interact with participants and their pets to collect data accurately.
• Label and organize collected data with client tools.
• Prepare session materials and set up lighting and studio space.
• Assist with teardown and coordinate with the Project Manager and Production team.
• Lift up to 45 lbs when needed.
