Job summary

DataForce by TransPerfect is seeking a Remote Project Moderator fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), Black American Sign Language (BASL), and English to join a short-term data collection project.

The moderator will conduct video calls with ASL and BASL speakers, guide participants through the recording process, explain project requirements and recording guidelines, and answer participant questions in real time. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to AI data development.

Qualifications

• Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and Black American Sign Language (BASL).
• Fluent in English with strong interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Study and master project guidelines and recording procedures.
• Conduct video calls with ASL and BASL speakers participating in the project.
• Walk participants through the recording process, usage of the application and project guidelines.
• Review participant environments to ensure suitability for recording.
• Assist participants in completing multiple recordings and answer questions in real time.
• Identify and help resolve issues during data collection and coordinate with teams as needed.
