Job summary

Blink Health is seeking a People Operations Program Specialist to own onboarding processes for new hires in Pittsburgh, PA. You will manage background checks, I-9 verifications, Day 1 communications, and data collection to ensure a smooth start for Blinks.

This you’ll be on-site, coordinating with HR and operations to resolve data gaps, answer benefits questions, and support new hires through their first weeks. A focus on accuracy and hospitality is essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in People Operations, HR coordination, or a related administrative role.
• Hands-on experience completing I-9 verifications in person, with working knowledge of E-Verify and TNC resolution.
• Experience managing background check workflows, preferably through Checkr or a comparable platform.
• Strong attention to detail — you catch errors before they become problems and maintain clean, organized records.
• Clear, warm written communication skills — capable of drafting professional new hire emails that are accurate, timely, and welcoming.

Responsibilities

• Background Check Administration: Monitor checks in Checkr and ensure timely completion ahead of start dates; adjudicate according to guidelines; maintain BGC records.
• New Hire Data Collection & Form Management: Collect and process required information; update forms; ensure entries in Workday.
• Day 1 Communications: Draft and send Day 1 welcome emails with logistics and site instructions; manage timelines.
• I-9 Verification & Compliance: On-site verifier for Pittsburgh; complete Section 2; manage E-Verify; handle TNCs and reverification.
• On-Site Support & New Hire Experience: Welcome new hires on Day 1; coordinate logistics; assist benefits questions; provide onboarding support.
