Job summary

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• 2 years experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare business office.
• 3 years experience or proven success as a Patient Financial Advocate Associate, preferably with Providence St. Joseph Health or its Affiliates.
• 2 years experience in automated, computerized account follow-up system, preferably in Epic.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and families on the phone or in person to resolve patient accounts.
• Identify eligibility, provide education, and submit applications for State and Federal sponsorship programs.
• Assist patients and determine eligibility for Providence Financial Assistance; support financial clearance and payment collection.
