Job summary

Firstsource is hiring a Patient Financial Advocate for on-site work at a Madison, IN medical facility. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm, pay up to $18.50 hourly depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years’ experience in medical coding, medical billing, eligibility (hospital or government) or related medical experience preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Screen self-pay patients for eligibility assistance on-site.
• Initiate the application process bedside when possible.
• Document results in the onsite tracking tool and hospital computer system.
• Face-to-face screen patients on site and contact them by telephone if needed.
• Outside field work including patient home visits to screen for eligibility.
