Job summary

Firstsource Solutions USA, LLC is seeking a Patient Financial Advocate to screen patients on-site at a medical facility in Shawnee Mission, KS. The role supports eligibility programs and coordinates with hospital staff to assist patients with enrollment.

The position is onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, offering a pay range up to $21 hourly depending on experience. Prior medical billing or eligibility experience is preferred, with strong customer service and computer skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in medical coding, medical billing, eligibility (hospital or government) or other pertinent medical experience is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Screen self-pay patients for eligibility programs on-site at hospitals (bedside or ER).
• Initiate the application process bedside when possible.
• Document patient information and screening results in the hospital system and tracking tools.
• Identify patient needs and assist with enrollment applications for assistance programs.
• Maintain on-site records and communicate progress to client contacts.
• Perform occasional home visits as part of outreach when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
