Shifts are Sunday through Thursday, 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with a pay range up to $18 per hour depending on experience. The position emphasizes patient support and coordination with hospital staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years’ experience in medical coding, medical billing, eligibility, or related medical field preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Screen self-pay patients on-site for eligibility programs.
• Initiate applications for state, county, or federal assistance.
• Record patient information on in-house screening sheets and hospital systems.
• Conduct bedside or ER screening; perform field visits as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and participate in client reporting.
