Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assigning accurate MRNs, completing medical necessity checks, collecting insurance information, receiving and processing physician orders, and utilizing an overlay tool while providing excellent customer service as measured by Press Ganey.
• Operates the telephone switchboard to relay calls as applicable.
• Adheres to policies while delivering compassionate customer service.
• Pre-registration of patient accounts and POS collections.
• Uses auditing and reporting systems to maintain accuracy and provide leadership with data.
• Explains and distributes patient education documents and consent forms.
• Reviews insurance verification and applies correct plan codes to support billing processes.
