Ensemble Health Partners is seeking an entry-level Patient Access Associate Specialist to perform admitting duties for patients at Adena Regional Medical Center on-site. The role pays $17.00–$18.15 per hour based on experience and requires a high school diploma with CRCR certification within 6 months (company paid).

The position emphasizes patient access tasks, insurance verification, POS/billing support, and strong customer service. PRN, onsite, Ohio location.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI to explore better processes.

Responsibilities

• Handle admitting duties for hospital patients.
• Assign MRNs and perform eligibility and compliance checks.
• Collect insurance information and process physician orders.
• Operate the telephone switchboard and maintain excellent customer service.
• Support POS and billing processes to assist with clean claim rate.
• Pre-register patient accounts and collect demographic and financial information.
