Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is hiring a Patient Access Specialist to support hospital admissions with accuracy and compassion. You will ensure correct MRNs, verify insurance, and collect necessary information while maintaining regulatory compliance.

A strong customer-service mindset and willingness to learn new tools, including AI-enabled processes, are essential. This onsite role requires presence at the Pascack Valley location in Westwood, NJ.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI to explore better processes and ways to alleviate friction and improve patient and client experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assign accurate MRNs and complete medical necessity / compliance checks.
• Collect insurance information and process physician orders with accuracy.
• Operate the telephone switchboard and provide excellent customer service with compassion.
• Utilize quality auditing and reporting systems to correct accounts and provide data to leadership.
• Pre-register patient accounts and obtain demographic, insurance, and financial information.
