Job summary

Bellin Health in Marinette is seeking a Patient Admissions Representative to join the Marinette Patient Access team. This full-time onsite role focuses on welcoming patients, verifying information, and coordinating appointments with our providers and nursing staff.

You will work Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm with occasional evenings, weekends, and holiday rotations, providing compassionate service while protecting patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and health-related coursework preferred.
• Hospital or clinic admitting experience or completion of health business program and strong customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, compassionate service to patients while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.
• Assist providers and nursing staff with coordinating patient appointments and scheduling needs.
• Help coordinate changes to provider schedules, including rescheduling, appointment adjustments, and other scheduling needs.
• Partner with clinic leadership to ensure patient appointment policies and procedures are consistently followed.
• Support leadership and care teams in addressing scheduling concerns while balancing patient needs, provider availability, and organizational guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with providers, nurses, leadership, patients, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Identify scheduling or registration concerns and work collaboratively to find appropriate solutions.
• Maintain accurate patient information and complete registration responsibilities according to established workflows.
• Assist with patient check-in, check-out, insurance verification, and other registration functions as needed.
• Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality in accordance with organizational policies and HIPAA requirements.
• Demonstrate flexibility in supporting changing workflows, staffing needs, and clinic priorities.
• Participate in occasional weekend coverage and holiday rotation as required by the department.
• Contribute to a positive team environment focused on patient experience, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
