Job summary

Emplify Health by Bellin is seeking a Patient Admissions Representative to coordinate discharge follow-up scheduling, manage virtual calls, and relay information to patients, physicians, and staff. The role is onsite in Green Bay, WI, 0.6 FTE (24 hours per week) with a 2-3 day schedule and every other weekend.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and additional post-secondary classes in medical insurance, medical terminology, and health care business preferred.
• Hospital or clinic admitting experience or completion of health business program, computer/keyboard skills, medical terminology, health insurance processing, excellent customer service skills, and decision-making skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the timely, complete, and accurate scheduling process of patients for discharge follow up appointment needs.
• Manages virtual calls and appropriately communicates information with patients, physicians, and/or staff.
