Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration.
• Three years of experience in Patient Access or business office setting.
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
• Three years of knowledge of medical terminology in job setting.
• Knowledge of medical billing codes.
• One year knowledge of Epic Applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
• Collect demographic information, insurance information, and patient liability at time of service.
• Complete financial clearance functions on assigned accounts.
• Greet patients professionally and ensure accurate, timely documentation in compliance with regulations.
