Providence is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to support on-site registration and arrival for scheduled and unscheduled visits. You will collect demographics, insurance, and patient liability at the time of service while maintaining a courteous, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities include completing financial clearance during registration downtimes, assisting with valuables collection, and delivering friendly customer service to promote positive patient experiences at Covenant

Qualifications

• 6 months of healthcare experience in Business office, Hospital or Medical Office setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival.
• Gather accurate demographic information and insurance information.
• Collect patient liability at time of service.
• Perform financial clearance on scheduled accounts during registration downtimes.
• Provide basic customer service and valuables collection.
• Greet patients in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner.
