Job summary

Providence is seeking a Patient Services Specialist in Lubbock, TX to assist patients during on-site registration and arrival, collecting demographic and insurance information and handling financial clearance as needed. The role also involves basic customer service and valuables handling to support a smooth patient experience.

Under the direction of the PAS manager, you will contribute to a friendly, respectful environment while adhering to policies and privacy guidelines in a busy hospital

Qualifications

• 6 months of healthcare experience in Business office, Hospital or Medical Office setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival process for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
• Complete financial clearance functions and collect demographics/insurance information, including patient liability when applicable.
