Job summary

Providence is seeking an on-site Patient Admissions Coordinator to support the registration and arrival process for both scheduled and unscheduled visits. The role focuses on collecting demographics, insurance information, and patient liability at the point of service, while performing financial clearance for assigned accounts.

Under the PAS supervisor, you will greet patients professionally and document information timely and accurately, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Patient Access within a business/healthcare office.
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems and medical terminology.
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD coding; knowledge of Epic Applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
• Collect accurate demographics, insurance details, and patient liability at time of service.
• Perform financial clearance functions on assigned accounts with accurate documentation.
• Greet patients professionally to promote a positive encounter while adhering to regulatory guidelines.
