Job summary

MSD seeks an Operations Packaging Room Lead in West Point, PA, to guide a team of Clinical Packaging Technicians in GMP‑compliant packaging, labeling, and documentation. This onsite role requires coordinating room setup, materials, and equipment, while ensuring safety and quality in all activities.

The candidate will train new staff, supervise day‑to‑day operations, and maintain GDP‑compliant records, with occasional overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a GMP regulated environment.
• Leadership experience to enable accountability for daily operations of a packaging team.
• Excellent communication and professional interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and oversee the execution of filling, labelling, and packaging of clinical packaging jobs; document de-packaging, packaging, labelling and sampling.
• Ensure team members follow GMP/SOP, batch records, and safety requirements in all activities.
• Accountable for daily output and product quality in primary and secondary packaging of clinical studies.
• Report and prevent potential quality events and GMP/SOP non-conformances.
• Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required.
• Lead training for new employees and coach junior staff.
