Job summary

EY is seeking an Onsite Field Support Engineer – OT to drive site readiness, asset onboarding, and infrastructure coordination in industrial environments. You’ll troubleshoot connectivity, support installation, and coordinate with engineering teams, vendors, and site personnel to ensure validated, documented deployments.

The role blends hands-on field work with documentation and handoff to steady-state support, requiring strong problem-solving and collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience preferred.
• 5+ years of field support, infrastructure, or networking experience.
• Experience with site-based deployments and readiness activities.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, IP addressing, VLANs.
• Ability to work in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Site Implementation Support: Support onboarding, readiness, and deployment activities for OT and industrial environments.
• Network and Infrastructure Support: Install, validate, and troubleshoot network/infrastructure; perform connectivity checks and basic troubleshooting.
• OT Asset Onboarding and Inventory Support: Identify, validate, and document OT assets; assist with onboarding into monitoring/support platforms.
• Testing, Readiness, and Troubleshooting: Support testing, connectivity validation, readiness reviews, and defect tracking.
• Documentation and Support Transition: Maintain deployment notes, diagrams, and handoff documentation.
