Job summary

EY seeks an Onsite Field Support Engineer – OT to drive site readiness, asset onboarding, and infrastructure coordination for industrial technology deployments. You will troubleshoot connectivity, validate OT asset readiness, and document support handoffs with engineering teams, vendors, and site personnel.

Ideal candidates have broad infrastructure experience in OT environments and the ability to travel for onsite implementation activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in field support, infrastructure support, networking, cybersecurity, industrial technology, or implementation roles.
• Experience supporting site-based technology deployments, infrastructure implementation, or operational readiness activities.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, IP addressing, VLANs, routing/switching concepts, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Ability to travel and support onsite implementation activities as required.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Site Implementation Support: onboarding, readiness checks, deployment logistics, and coordination with teams and vendors.
• Network and Infrastructure Support: installation, validation, troubleshooting, and connectivity checks.
• OT Asset Onboarding and Inventory Support: asset validation, documentation, and onboarding into monitoring platforms.
• Testing, Readiness, and Troubleshooting: testing, defect tracking, escalation coordination and post-implementation support.
• Documentation and Support Transition: maintain deployment notes, diagrams, and handoff assets.
