Job summary

ONE Gas, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Support professional to ensure accurate documentation of capital construction work and timely processing of contractor invoices.

You will reconcile and finalize project records, assist with forecasts, and collaborate with Field Operations, Engineering, GIS and Property Accounting to maintain data quality. Qualifications include 2–4 years of relevant experience, proficiency with JES/Maximo/Oracle/Markview/PowerPlant/BI/SharePoint/Excel, and

Qualifications

• Two to four years of relevant experience; minimum one year required.
• Experience reviewing project or construction documentation and/or contractor invoices.
• Experience with office equipment and software used in essential functions.
• Experience reading and interpreting manuals, maps and reports.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Provide operations support for accurate, complete and timely documentation of capital construction work and processing contractor invoices; assist with financial forecasts.
• Close out construction projects and process invoices, including job orders, as-builts, logs, records, pricing and supporting docs.
• Enter or verify data in JES, Maximo, Oracle, Markview, PowerPlant, ONE Map, BI, SharePoint, and Excel and prepare reports (finish docs, invoice coding, debit memos, journal entries).
• Communicate with Field Ops, Engineering, GIS and Property Accounting on documentation quality and pending work status.
• Support financial forecasting by analyzing project statuses and invoice timing.
• Maintain regular attendance; perform additional duties as assigned.
