Job summary

SA Recycling LLC is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Manager for our Phenix City, AL facility. The role involves leading safety inspections, coordinating production and maintenance coverage, and training staff to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; foreign education acceptable.
• Pass a medical physical and drug test.
• Pass a background and credit check.

Responsibilities

• Complete a monthly safety inspection of the facility.
• Conduct safety conversations with employees.
• Monitor production levels and ensure proper coverage for production and maintenance.
• Train employees and supervisors via tailgate meetings, one-on-one, and demonstrations.
• Communicate to the workforce in morning tailgates and safety meetings.
• Provide client services to ensure new metal materials are purchased daily.
