Qualifications

• Requires formal Nuclear Medicine technology training in an AMA approved school.
• Eligibility for ARRT registry or NMTCB certification.
• Eligibility for Active IDNS accreditation in Nuclear Medicine Technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures as assigned.
• Operate equipment per manufacturer and UCH procedures.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and safety protocols during exams.
• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and administer them using aseptic technique.
• Document exam status in MARS RIS and maintain labels and records.
• Maintain equipment and work area in good condition; report malfunctions.
