Job summary

UCHealth Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform imaging and therapy in alignment with standards and organizational mission. The role is full-time, onsite in Radiology Nuc Med, with a day shift and hourly pay.

Responsibilities include handling radiopharmaceuticals, patient education, quality control, and accurate reporting of scan results. Eligible for performance incentives and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by NMTCB or certified NM by ARRT.
• BLS/CPR required and valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and orders; educate patient about procedures.
• Prepare, administer, store and dispose radiopharmaceuticals per protocols and regulations; monitor patient condition.
• Prepare equipment; select exposure factors; perform quality control; troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Position patient and perform imaging; analyze results and report findings; ensure image quality.

Education

CNMT/NMTCB or NM-ARRT certification
