Job summary

Entergy in Louisiana seeks a Supervisor, Chemistry (Nuclear) to lead full-time and temporary Chemistry personnel at the Killona site. You will manage multiple priorities safely and effectively, coordinating with Engineering and Projects to support system health reviews and project implementation.

The role focuses on standard-setting, program oversight (PWR/BWR water, waste, and compliance), and mentoring staff for readiness and advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of experience in the related field; a B.S. in Engineering or related field may credit 3 years of experience.
• 2 years of technical training and proficiency in nuclear generation principles; proficient with current computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Set and reinforce standards and expectations; act to correct performance gaps.
• Monitor programs (PWR primary/secondary water, BWR water, cooling systems, waste, groundwater, SPCC, etc.) and address gaps.
• Support the Chemistry Superintendent in business planning and strategic initiatives.
• Provide oversight of department benchmarks and assessments.
• Mentor staff and develop 'Ready-Now' candidates for promotion; delegate and track assignments.
• Ensure ALARA, review chemistry data, and communicate with Operations.
