Job summary

Entergy in St. Francisville, Louisiana, seeks an Engineer I–Sr Lead (Nuc) to identify and resolve plant issues and maintain configuration control. You will liaison between engineering and Operations and Maintenance, supporting outages and critical online systems.

The role is filled at Engineer I, II, III, Sr, or Sr Lead based on experience, with up to 25% travel. A BS in engineering is required, with nuclear experience per level.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering related to power plant operations or equivalent experience.
• Engineer I: 0–2 years in nuclear power design/ops or equivalent.
• Engineer II: 2–3 years in nuclear power design/ops or equivalent.
• Engineer III: 3–4 years in nuclear power design/ops or equivalent.
• Sr. Engineer: 4–5 years in nuclear design/ops or equivalent.
• Sr. Lead: 6+ years in nuclear design/ops or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and resolves plant issues and acts as a liaison between engineering team and Operations and Maintenance departments.
• Supports Maintenance and Operations in resolution of plant issues from significant events or complex problems.
• Interfaces with Maintenance and Operations for cost-effective maintenance strategies and issues engineering changes.
• Helps support planning and prioritization aspects of project life cycle.
• Implements action plans to address deficiencies via corrective action and work management processes.
• Develops engineering products per standards and participates in outages and critical online system work.
• Serves on outage engineering support teams and maintains required qualifications.
