Entergy is seeking a Supervisor, Rad Operations in Killona, LA to provide first-line supervision of Radiation Protection Operations personnel. You will lead daily RP tasks, manage priorities, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on shift.

The role requires a strong technical background in RP operations, familiarity with nuclear generation principles, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholder groups. Travel up to 25% may be involved.

Competenze

• Technical proficiency in the RP Operations area.
• Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operation.
• Proficiency with current computer business applications.

• Is proficient at managing a multi-disciplined group possibly including union and contractor oversight.
• Maintains an excellent understanding of the work management process. Functions as a team leader. Assists in the RP budget development and function within the budget.
• Communicates with all levels of the organization including representing the department at all meetings.
• Ensures assigned tasks are performed as safely and efficiently as possible. Proposes time saving tooling and work methods.
• Ensures all RP activities are performed within regulatory and procedural guidelines.
• Manages personnel and resolves employee conflict or concerns. Interfaces with other Entergy sites to maximize resource sharing of RP personnel. Interfaces with regulatory and industry representatives on behalf of station activities. Communicates technical Radiation Protection information, concepts, and ideas verbally and in writing. Participates in the shared resources program. Serves as a member of the Emergency Response Organization.
