Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Supervisor, Chemistry (Nuclear) at Killona, LA. The role provides first line supervision of Chemistry personnel, manages multiple priorities, and ensures ALARA and regulatory compliance.

The incumbent will oversee programs including primary/secondary water chemistry, waste management, and laboratory coordination, while mentoring staff and supporting outage planning and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of experience in the related field. (B.S. in Engineering or related technical degree may be credited for 3 years of experience.)
• 2 years of technical training and technical proficiency in the assigned area. Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operation.
• SRO or certification on BWR or PWR (desired). ANSI/ANS standards and regulatory guidelines apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line supervision of Chemistry personnel in a safe, productive manner.
• Monitor status of programs (e.g., PWR primary water, PWR secondary water, BWR water, open/closed cooling water, etc.) and address gaps.
• Support Chemistry Superintendent in development of business plans, excellence plans, and long range strategy.
• Provide oversight of department benchmarks and assessments.
• Assist outage planning and preparation; facilitate communication between Chemistry, Engineering, and Projects.
