Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Sr Material Coordinator to manage material planning, availability, stocking strategy, and cost-saving initiatives at the Killona, Louisiana nuclear facility. You will liaise with the Procurement and Supply Chain team and site engineering, work management, planning, maintenance, and operations.

This onsite role requires unescorted access, extensive background checks, pre-employment drug testing, and potential relocation for non-local candidates.

Qualifications

• The preferred degree fields include Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Engineering or Industrial Technology plus 2+ years in related areas.
• Or in lieu of a degree, 6+ years of related experience in inventory management, supply chain, engineering, planning, operation or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety and ensure team and suppliers prioritize safety.
• Develop and execute communication plans for work management and material needs.
• Analyze demand plans, supply stocking strategy, and inbound/outbound material and purchase requests.
• Interface with BU representatives to determine upcoming material demands and priorities and ensure material availability.
• Represent P&SC in work readiness meetings for online, outage, and storm demands.
• Support resolution of material receipt discrepancies.
• Identify deficiencies and provide materials management solutions to complex issues.
• Focus on continuous improvement of material movement through the supply chain.
