Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an experienced NOC Lead to join a technology and engineering services firm specializing in secure IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and mission-critical support for federal government and national security customers. This is an onsite position in Washington, D.C.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in IT/network operations or similar
• 2–5 years leading technical teams or operational environments
• Strong enterprise networking experience (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching)
• Hands-on with Cisco IOS-XE/NX-OS and Arista EOS in Windows/Linux environments
• Experience with monitoring and security tools listed in qualifications
• Experience supporting 24x7x365, SLAs, and incident restorations
• Knowledge of ITSM processes (Incident/Problem/Change/Knowledge)
• Active Top Secret or Q clearance preferred
• Onsite work in Washington D.C. and Manassas, VA

Responsibilities

• Lead daily NOC operations and ensure 24x7x365 availability across enterprise IT infrastructure
• Manage major incidents, outages, escalations, troubleshooting, and service restoration per SLA
• Supervise and mentor NOC analysts and engineers; manage shift coverage and SOP adherence
• Coordinate technical teams, customers, vendors, and carriers during incidents and maintenance
• Monitor performance, conduct RCA, and drive corrective actions for recurring issues
• Improve monitoring, alerting, automation, documentation, and compliance requirements
