Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks an experienced NOC Lead to join our technology and engineering services team supporting federal government and national security customers. This onsite role is based in Washington, D.C. and Manassas, VA, requiring an active Top Secret or Q clearance.

The NOC Lead will drive 24x7 availability, incident management, and security-focused operations across enterprise IT. Responsibilities include supervising analysts, coordinating with vendors, and leading efforts to

Qualifications

• 5–10 years IT/network operations experience with 2–5 years leading teams.
• Strong enterprise networking skills: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, firewalls.
• Hands-on with Cisco IOS-XE/NX-OS and Arista EOS in Windows/Linux environments.
• Experience with 24x7x365 operations and incident restoration within SLA.
• Active Top Secret or Q clearance and onsite work in DC/VA.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily NOC operations and ensure 24x7 availability across infrastructure.
• Manage major incidents, outages, escalations, and service restoration within SLA.
• Supervise NOC analysts and engineers, manage shift coverage and SOPs.
• Coordinate with technical teams, customers, vendors, and carriers during incidents.
• Monitor performance, perform RCA, and drive corrective actions for recurring issues.
• Enhance monitoring, alerting, automation, and documentation for security/compliance.
