Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a NOC Lead to support a critical DOE/NNSA program in Manassas, VA. The candidate will oversee network availability, performance, and security across enterprise IT services, with 24x7 operations and leadership responsibilities.

The role requires an active Top Secret clearance with potential to obtain a DOE Q clearance, and a strong background in Cisco/Arista networks, Windows/Linux servers, and cloud platforms. On-site work with long-term program potential.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain DOE Q clearance.
• 10+ years IT network operations/engineering, with 4+ years of leadership experience.
• Enterprise network technologies: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, firewalls.
• Cisco Route and Switch configuration (IOS-XE,NX-OS).
• Arista Switch Configuration (EOS).
• Spine/Leaf Architecture.
• WAN Circuits (Metro Ethernet).
• Windows and Linux servers.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• ITSM processes: Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge Management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain availability, performance, and health of enterprise networks, systems, apps, and infrastructure.
• Oversee 24x7x365 operations across all shifts.
• Lead incident response, coordinate restorations, and manage escalations.
• Document, track, and resolve incidents per SLAs and procedures.
• Conduct root cause analyses and drive corrective actions.
