Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform on-site hearing screens in the hospital after birth. You will work at one or more hospital locations, with on-the-job training and annual American Academy of Audiology-certified certification to support early detection of hearing loss.

The role emphasizes patient education, data collection, and timely reporting. You'll collaborate with hospital staff, maintain safety protocols, and help families understand results

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain on offer.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens in hospital settings.
• Educate parents on the importance of screens and early intervention.
• Follow PPE, vaccination, and compliance protocols.
• Accurately collect demographic data and document results.
• Upload screen results and coordinate follow-up appointments as needed.
