Job summary

Trace3 is seeking a Network Engineer for on-site roles across North America with heavy travel. You will design, install, and support enterprise wireless networks, performing RF surveys, site audits, and performance optimization for diverse environments.

Required: 5+ years in enterprise networking, Cisco WAPs/Controllers, Ekahau Pro, and relevant certs (A+/N+/CCNA). Excellent English communication and a strong service mindset are essential, with travel up to 85–90%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise-level network design and support (IEEE 802.1, WAN/LAN, QoS, TCP/IP).
• Hands-on with Cisco wireless APs and controllers.
• Clear, professional English communication; able to travel domestically.
• Fundamental Office 365 understanding; strong troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 85–90% in various geographies.

Responsibilities

• Document network infrastructure and wireless design clearly.
• Design, install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot wireless LANs.
• Provide recommendations to optimize wireless networks and plan upgrades.
• Perform RF surveys, throughput tests, and site assessments.
• Lead proofs-of-concept and document standards and reports.
• Coordinate with clients and conduct meetings in person or virtually.
• Travel domestically 75–90% and assist in deployments and transitions.
• Mentor junior technicians and ensure adherence to best practices.
