Job summary

Insight is seeking a Services Technician to install, modify, repair, test and service hardware, software configurations, cabling, and networks onsite at our Fort Worth, TX office. You will support both internal teammates and clients, performing hardware repairs, testing, and documentation to ensure uptime.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or two years of related experience, with A+ and vendor hardware certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year College or university or 2 years related experience and/or training.
• A+ certification and at least one vendor hardware certification required.
• Ability to automate tasks using basic scripting techniques is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• The Services Technician performs installation, modification, repair, testing and servicing on systems and communications equipment.
• Service both internal Insight teammates and clients on site.
• Install and test system hardware and peripherals and document builds according to policy.
• Identify and resolve hardware problems and order replacements as needed.
• Install, tests and configures network and data cabling, switches, routers, and NOS.
• Provide server hardware support and troubleshooting as required.
