Job summary

Newport Williams in Roseland, NJ is seeking a skilled IT Network Engineer. This onsite, permanent role focuses on hands-on troubleshooting, systems deployment, and network administration across offices and remote environments.

You will manage switches, APs, firewalls, AD/Azure, Microsoft 365, VPNs, DNS/DHCP, and security best practices while collaborating with colleagues to improve workflows and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years IT support, systems administration, or infra experience.
• Experience with Windows, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience with networking and security solutions from Cisco, Palo Alto, etc.
• Scripting or automation with PowerShell or Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage network infrastructure including switches, APs, and firewalls.
• Administer Active Directory and Azure AD/Entra ID, including GPOs.
• Support Microsoft 365 apps (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, VPN, and wireless networking.
• Maintain IT documentation and ticketing system; ensure SLA.
