Job summary

ADAPT Community Network, NYC-based, is seeking a Network Engineer to ensure stable operation of the agency's data, video, voice, and wireless networks. You will install, monitor, maintain, support, and optimize network infrastructure and perform data backups to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates hold a four-year degree in computer science or related field with at least three years of hands-on experience in Windows servers, Active Directory, VMware ESXi, Exchange, and VOIP solutions; familiarity

Qualifications

Four-year degree in computer science, information sciences, or related field.
Three years of equivalent work experience.
Solid knowledge of Dell Servers and Equalogic SAN.
Administrator-level experience with Windows Server OS and Active Directory.
Linux familiarity.
VOIP Telephone Solutions experience.
Experience with Microsoft 365 & Azure AD.
Experience with VMware ESXi, Vcenter, iSCSI.

Responsibilities

Proactively manage servers and server OS components including AD, GC, DCs, and updates.
Deploy and manage security solutions (firewall, anti-virus, IDS).
Manage LAN, WAN, and wireless networks and devices.
Ensure reliable connectivity for servers, workstations, and VOIP/video equipment.
Monitor network performance and prepare reports.
