Fairfield Residential is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the onsite Superintendent and Project Manager on multifamily renovation and redevelopment projects in California. You will oversee subcontractors, maintain safety and quality standards, manage field documentation, and collaborate with property operations teams to minimize resident disruption.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in multifamily construction or redevelopment.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel and Word; strong communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Supervise subcontractors and enforce safety and quality standards.
• Maintain site drawings and equipment inventory.
• Coordinate & communicate with property teams and vendors.
• Schedule work with property teams and vendors.
• Keep Superintendent informed and liaise with external stakeholders.
• Maintain daily logs and assist with payment reviews.
• Support documentation from startup to closeout.
• Assist with due diligence and mock-up planning (Pre-Construction).
• Participate in pre-construction meetings.
